Social media users have said “a half decent vet” could bring a woman’s dinner back to life after her brother shared a photo of the extremely underdone food she served up for the family
A woman who cooked her family a chicken katsu curry for dinner proudly shared a photo of her creation on Snapchat stories to show off her culinary skills.
The picture shows a breaded chicken breast, rice with a wedge of lemon, and a salad, as she tried to recreate the dish that’s hugely popular with Wagamamas customers.
And it didn’t look like a bad attempt – from the outside at least.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite the same story when her family tucked in to find the chicken completely raw all the way through, leading to her brother brutally calling her out on social media.
Posting side-by-side images of the dinner she had posted on Snapchat and what he found when he cut into the food, @Aidan_langton wrote on Twitter : “Nothing close to her story. This is actually attempted murder.
“I’ve decided to put my sister down so this doesn’t happen again.”
The tweet gained more than 45,000 likes as @georgialangton_ came forward to own up to the blunder, saying: “Safe to say I’m never deep fat frying again nearly killed my family”, before insisting it was a rare blunder, stating: “Btw I’m actually a good cook just had a moment of weakness.”
She added: “Once I done the chicken properly it was unreal!! Just a shame I nearly killed Aid.”
But it didn’t stop the Gordon Ramsay style reviews flooding in on the viral post, as one person commented to say: “That chicken is so undercooked it’s eating the f***ing rice!”
A second wrote: “How do you undercook the chicken that much? Was it shown a picture of the oven?”
A third simply said: “Still clucking innit?”
Someone else replied: “A half decent vet could bring that back to life!”
Another added: “Give that a paracetamol and it would start producing eggs.”
